Bleu Cour at the FIRST FASHION WEEK QUITO
The Ecuadorian capital was filled with creativity, art and sustainability with the latest edition of Quito Fashion Week , and Bleu Cour was present with a proposal that everyone loved: conscious, inclusive fashion made with denim scraps .
A fashion show that told stories, not just trends
On the runway, Bleu Cour didn't showcase simple garments, but rather pieces imbued with meaning. Each dress, skirt, jacket, and ensemble was born from a commitment to the planet and its people: reusing denim, reducing textile waste, and creating garments that celebrate all bodies.
The collection presented at Quito Fashion Week fused upcycling techniques , sustainable processes like waterless laser engraving , and the use of eco-friendly fibers such as Tencel . The result: a fresh, modern, and emotionally powerful collection.
The heart of Bleu Cour: love, ethics, and community
Beyond fashion, Bleu Cour is a movement. In the words of its founder, Stephanie Carrillo ,
“Each garment is a message of self-love, inclusion, and respect for the planet. We don’t just want to dress people; we want to inspire them to choose with purpose.”
Looks that conquered the catwalk
Among the audience favorites were:
-
Mermaid dress: elegant and timeless, created with recycled denim in deep tones.
-
Coral skirt and Alma top: a play of contrasts and textures, perfect for an urban-chic look.
-
Coral Jacket: patchwork that combines art and functional fashion.
Each look was paired with minimalist accessories so that the focus would be on the design and the story behind the garment.
One more step towards conscious fashion in Ecuador
Bleu Cour's participation in Quito Fashion Week is not only an achievement for the brand, but also an important step in positioning Ecuadorian sustainable fashion on the international map.
Because if anything was clear in this edition, it's that the future of fashion is conscious , and Bleu Cour is ready to lead that conversation.
